It's a funny thing that happens sometimes-I had never heard of United Pacific Oil until this job, and now I notice their tanker trucks everywhere. They have a very cool retro looking logo that's hard to miss. This concrete tilt-up located near the Long Beach airport sports an amazing light and airy interior thanks to the use of skylights and copious amounts of glass. The lobby build out included an entire convenience store used for training purposes,as well as a "gas station" complete with pumps, "roof", and a Chevy Bel-Air converted into a reception desk. Because of the scope of some of the spaces, I decided to include people in some of the images to help scale it and suggest usage. Produced for Oltman's Construction and DRA Architects on an extremely tight time frame, the images can be viewed in the case study gallery.
